hey buying a harley in the next couple of weeks theres a 883 bored out to 1200 2003 is there much noticiable in power between the cc's is it better to buy stock standard or one thats been fruited out because theres an 883 similar price to the rebored 1200 but the 883 standard 5000k 2006 the 1200 got aftermarket pipes 10000k hyper charger highway pegs crashbars etc just after others thoughts because i get tunnel vision and cant see past the bling and noise

Out of the two I'd go for a 1200, be it the one you mention, or another one that pops up. 883 could bore you sooner rather than later.

Theres a big difference between the two.

I bought a supposedly Bored1200
Found out it wasn't when doing a
rocker cover gasket(don't snap a head bolt doing one)
so did the 1200 conversion my self,bought complete kit,barrels,pistons,gaskets from ebay.(half the price of doing it here)

It made a BIG BIG difference.

I agree with usa vtwin. Go 1200.

The '06 will have EFI which makes them harder to fuck around with later on when you get bored with the 883cc too ('03 were the last of the carbed ones).
