still got the steel frames though, probably didn't get any of the extra developments the 4stokes seem to have.

if mx 2 smokers had alloy frames i think keeping both wheels on the ground would become a major issue.......

its good suzuki finally started making models that compete with other brand models.....

What you smoking? CR's have had alloy frames since the late 90's.

was more meaning that suzuki changed there 4strokes over to alloy frames and continued the development and improvement to the bikes. They didn't do the same with the 2strokes which is a pity. You have to look to people like KTM to see that sort of investment in 2strokes.

yeah most euro's are steel.

Probably didn't write it well. What I ment is that Suzuki rm125e has a steel frame which to me looked like it may not have had the updates, and inprovements it's 4stroke range have had over the last few years. Wasn't trying to say alloy was better than steel or vice versa. Meaning that you'd prob be better buying a euro 2stroke where they have kept spending the money to develop highly competative bikes, maybe Suzuki haven't???

We've got one of his old KDXs. Hasn't helped either of our riding ability, if he wasn't such a nice guy I'd hate him for the talent he has.

wouldn't that be a backward step, considering what your riding. I thought the Husqvarna was and ugly looking bike, but I have grown to like them I know they go well.
Its the tanks shrouds, make,s it look like a DRZ, make,s it look heavy
that just my opinion.

Alloy frames are just fashion. Those bikes are probably put together by the spanish importer just for their market.
