New front internals by RT
Qualify.Get a feel for new front end and run in new discs then lap 3 red flag during a hot lap.All results cancelled.
Sent out with clubmans to re qualify. So many bikes Mossy decides to run slow and leave large gap for a hot lap.2nd lap pick up some pace but not happy with hairpin exit so slow down to leave the gap big and retry on third lap.Got a very good amount of pace then red flag again while in the extended section.
Result qualify 22nd on 6th row 2nd from inside row.2.30secs.Well boxed in.Normally 1st or 2nd qualify this year this is minor diaster.

Race one 5laps
Never realised how hard its is being so far back on the grid and the front runners are well gone by the end of infield so a long way to catch up.
Keep pushing and gaining places to end up 6th overall and first pre89 senior home and manage fastest lap in race one while in trafic 2.05mins so happy with result.

Race two 4laps
Another boxed in start and still 20th at end of lap one.Push back through the field to take first pre89 on the run to the start line on last lap for 5th overall.
must admit there is a fun factor involved in being in trafic the whole race.2nd fastest lap time of race two.

Link to race two footage.Lots of footage of postclassic racers for you guys to check out.Rt front end works very well and corner speed and brake markers are a lot better now so looking forward to the 15 laps on short circuit to see how much quicker the FZR is.

Good stuff Mossey,
Shame you didn't get a chance to qualify well... Frustration galore those sessions were....

Good to see you got some practice blasting traffic though.... Training that may come in handy in the long races of next round.

You let soo many bike go around you into that first corner mossey. Looks like Frenchy ruffled you up in the first lap. Don't think some of the 400 pilots appreciate how hard it is getting the power down on the big dinosaurs on the short circuit and how early you have to start braking to slow the beasties down. You've got some big baws throwing that thing into the final corner like that

I think they realise... Just the 400 riders have to use the advantage of the higher corner speed they have... as they have stuff all torque to build the speed back up down the drag strips.... But then you know that already scracha.

I must say I was sitting here going "Just pass Frenchy already!!!", "Just feed in the power"...
Then again my Lap Top doesn't exactly have 140 horsepower to contain...

And Mossy does an amazing, and very consistent job on that machine... from where I'm sitting.

Umm,
I might be open to bribes... and leave the board out for a few more seconds for you to see.... But it is heavy and I can't wait all day.... ;)

Na, jokes....
The fun we have with a mixed class.

Actually it can make it a mare... as we have to make sure the bike we are looking at for the gap is actually a Jnr...

F3 is Worse!
Ant the fact Neil wants to be first one the track... Stuff the tyre budget!

Yeah, a bit of a hijack Mossy, but I love to watch you and Neil dice too.

No worries.Peter and I have been PM each other and decided we will trail Neil around reading your pit board then swamp him on the mid straight during his hot lap and steal the glory of first and second on pole.LOL

And your numbers are a little small and hard to read if you find time to get larger magnets that would be great.

Not used to the boxed in feeling when the bikes around you are light and flick around like a lizards tongue. The FZR weighs in at 200kg approx fueled so just tried not squash anyone in corner one.It also has a tendancy to drop out of usable rev range if you get held up and changing down isnt good idea at that point unless there is nothing infront.Great riding on your part ,didnt make it easy getting past.

Numbers too small???
I spent all Friday night cutting them that small!!!
They were 100mm segments, so I cut 42 of them down to 75mm....

A work mate said he could he could read the board at Dunlop!!
He was stationary... and had a camera with 10x Optical zoom...
So...
Well, I guess Neils eyes are younger than most ;)

Im old and half blind.I use braille with the ripple strips to navigate my way around the track.Im surprised Neil could read it as you were holding it upside down during qualify session last round.

If you were doing 1:15s and Neil 1:20s
You might just about do it.
5 sec a lap difference, 15 laps = 75sec = 1:15

Wait a minute, what if I'm doing 1:20s. OOOhhh bugger.:gob:

You have to do the Post Classic GP at Taupo. It's a National title.
You'd be bummed out if you didn't turn up and I won it. :2thumbsup
