for my 10th wedding anniversary my whole family plan on doing a wine tour and stay there the night or 2 .
has anyone got any suggestions?
there will be 10 of us and we would like to stay at maybe a friendly pub .

I spent a couple days down their with the wife, Sitting in some gardens in front of a big house, overlooking the vineyards, getting sozzeled on some fantastic wine and eating cheese.
Plenty of the vineyards do cheap accommodation that would spank staying at some shitty pub.

Try the tui website,on it they have tours of the areas,think it includes accomodation around Mangatoinoka and Masterton off hand if I recall.
Also try www.adayonthegreen.co.nz. quite often have concerts at Alanis Estate vineyard or similar,has links to accomodation in Martinborough.
