I've finally got around to getting Tenzing ready for sale and it is on Tardme here (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Dual-purpose/auction-239124897.htm). My thread about Tenzing is here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=78675&highlight=tenzing). I've not updated the thread for some time though so there are some differences i.e. the Wilbers shock is in El Scooto's (bro's) XTZ750 now.

Is that price a typo?
If not someone is going to grab a bargain.

My thoughts as well Ryan - a very fair price for low cost entry to large bike adventure riding - best wishes Aslan

No typo on the price. I'd rather sell it than have it sitting in the shed seeking top dollar for the next 6 months as the KTM loan gathers interest. Put it on Trademe at 5pm on Sunday and I'd had contact from three people by 10pm that night!

Looks nice...
What's the seat height like? It looks like a big bike. I'm wanting to maybe upgrade from my XR600 to something that I can do serious distance on but still take in all types of road / track (plus have electric start). What's the seat like for distance riding?

Nice to see someone not asking a stupid price for an oldish bike, hell if I had a bigger shed and a few more spare shekels I grab it, it's a nice bike and sounds good too

I'm definitely going to miss the sound. I'll just have to chase my bro around. He has an arrow can which sounds even better with the baffle out  Plan was to price for a sale not top dollar and it seems to have worked. I've had an offer already - guy in Welly who's bank manager is on KB. The guy knew I've got my hands on a 950 via the bank manager. I'm still trying to figure out who the bank manager is, but I have my suspicions ;-)

I was way of the mark then. Thanks for your input. Was a bit of a supprise when he started telling me that he knew I'd just brought a 950! Glad to know it is going to a good home and you know where to find me if there are any questions.

That XTZ is going home isn't it? If it's Jezza's old one then I tried to follow it on the last Capital Coast Ride, including the Enduro loops.
So yes, it's been places a lot knarlier than the Sutherlands Hutt track.

Na this one is not Jezza's (bro has that one). Your right though that Jezza was bloody hard to keep up with on the last CCA. Some seriously impressive sideways action somewhere in the clay surfaced forest tracks near the Hutt.

It is heading north and with the right rider it will go a lot further than you think.

Don't know that Barrie is the right rider.... yet. Suspect he is a bit fitter than me though.
