:angry2: :angry2: :angry2: F@$#^& wind!!!
So there I was standing next to my bike putting my helmet on - big gust of wind hits - I end up on the ground and so does my bike. Need new indicator and clutch and a spot of welding. And I've pulled a couple of muscles in my leg.
In case anyone hadn't figured it out yet:
I'M NOT A HAPPY CAMPER RIGHT NOW!!! :angry2: :angry2:

It blows that she got sucked in to buying a bike in Wellers?
Either way, it's not goood. No-one likes their new bike to be subjected to such.

Sucks, only real solution is a heavier bike. Never have to worry about wind knockin over my 527 pound beast.

Well, I guess the lack of wind resistance is just the unavoidable price a wee girly like Riff Raff must pay for having to ride chickwheels...

gutted!! thats gotta rip your undies good and proper!! where were you parked, It looks fairly still out from where in sitting but theres a few windtunnel streets caused by poorly positioned big ugly grey things (buildings). maybe a short walk to work from a slightly more sheltered park could be safer in future?

I believe Wellington is windy because of all the baked beans eaten in Auckland ...
In that instance one would thing Hamilton would be windy aswell.... Hey maybe it's Rotorua, could also explain the smell.:msn-wink: (Yes I know about the gysers and sulpher and such.)

last time I was in welly town it did'y blow. The Hutt river did jump up and flood the motorway, and most of the road got washed away at some junction thingy, leaving the capital lamost cut off from the rest of the north island, but it didn't blow.

Righto - well it's all fixed. Thanks White Trash and Hayden for getting everything done so quickly. Heading back to Auckland shortly. Fabulous weather and no wind today!!!
And Welly is still a cool place - it's just those gusts that annoy me when it affects my bike.

Really sorry to hear that Sue. I think I'd cry if anything like that happened to mine. Even the cats are looking at me strangely now because I shout at them if they even look like they're going to jump on it.
Hope your leg comes right soon.
