Why is it that all the good songs are always in the bottom 500?

I dunno where that youtube came from but fuck that was funny. Yeah Crowded house, fuckin Aussie band. How about we claim Cold Chisel instead?
Rock plays Red Hot Chilli peppers, man there's a 100% fuckin boring band, crank the handle & turn out some formula rock, make sure you make reference to California.
But the biggest vice is they just keep playing the same songs again & again followed by the same adds. Shit I can't listen to that shit in the morning.
ah heck got me thinking

Well I did when I found that Merry go round clip I edited in. I was too young to go to the Last Stand Concert in 81.

Hey, I still listen to tapes and have no portable music player whatsoever. No matter what anyone tells, I know that my money is better spent on bikes than wasted on something I can get for free! ;)

Sorry - wind up - Some of the Hauraki jocks are pretty cool.
It's the 'character' advert voices that make me want to hurl the box.

Sorry Dave, they're not "Disc Jockeys" these days. They're "Radio Personalities"...

Whilst Hauraki play decent rock music, their playlist at times seems limited.

Unfortunately they still do occasionally play Crowded House (not that, as a huuuge Beatles fan, I object to that per se, but it isn't "classic rock")...I also change the channel whenever anyone plays U2 or fucking Nickleback...

Yeah I don't know why they changed their scope to Classic Rock a few years back anyway. That's just an analogy for Sad Old Man Easy Listening music. As if there aren't enough stations circulating the hits that were thrashed to death & we all got sick of in the 80s TM
2ZM etc were crap then, I hear they survived some how to the present day when their spawn (ZMFM) was on in Subway the day before. What shit.
The original Radio Active & Sometimes Radio 99 (later Pirate) were sort of ok. I just can't listen to those dreadful fuckers in the morning of all radio stations wibbling on in between repeated adverts & repeated songs. :whocares:
Well it's hard to hear new music, I feel like I'm trapped in the early 2000s. Ok you can scan youtube but you have to know what you are looking for. Winradio has been the only savior for finding music only radio stations.

I got most annoyed with The Rock when they constantly aired the Magnas Benrow advert, with the owner and his wife, who BOTH had the most annoying voices!! They would talk utter farken crap, and it was played over and over and over and over and over again!!! My ears bled!

No music - but the best things that were on Triple J (and Aus Radio - ever) are now on Triple M.

Lol, I can remember the guy who used to run Pirate, lived across the road from my cousins in hitatai. Would get on the radio in the morning pissed from Burbon and coke, run down his ex wife all the time and spout off shit that would make the do gooders cry. Derek was his name. Drove an old valiant too. Good cunt.
Can't stand the rock my self, especially the wanker listeners who think they're hard or 'blokey' beacause they are listening to 'real rock' (lol, Nickleback, Matchbox 20... tui anyone?). Betcha the top song will be Enter Sandman or Thunderstruck. They only thrash them 2 times a day, everyday without fail. Maybe the people who vote are deaf or have a short memory.

3rd September 2009, 10:48
Yeah Derek was ok some of the time, but you could see he could be a right wanker too. Depended on his blood to alcohol mix.
His offsider in the early days (Chris maybe) was the solid one I thought. Derek is a bit dead now, had a hearty after a rant at his kid's school meeting or something.
