Those of you who have been paying attention will know that the engine on my bike blew up a couple of weeks ago.

It's currently having a new (2nd hand) engine fitted, and will be back on the road and running sweetly once the bill is paid.

Which presents a bit of a problem, as the cash is currently not flowing as it should.

So, as I have no money, winter is on the way, and as I have HellBastard exams coming up (which means no free time between now and July), the scoot is for sale. See the trading section for details.

Would make a good newbie bike or commuter, with a bit more punch than a GN250 or similar.

She looks like shit, but all the working bits are or will shortly be in good running order.

The price is as advertised. I reckon it's a more than fair price for a bike of this type and vintage, as I've seena couple on sale recently for 50% more.

The bike is currently in the capable hands of Frosty's mechanic mate Alex, so if you want an independent opinion on the quality, I'm sure he'll be happy to provide one.

Call me on 027 209 6643, or PM.

Rich

This is what the scoot looks like, except mine is in red/white, not blue/white

They are asking considerably more than I am, but mine probably has more K's on the clock. I'll post the amount when I talk to the mechanic.

Don't be shy, noobs/commuters! It's a deal, it's a steal.

I'm not looking for a bike at the moment. But I dunno how you're going to sell it without letting people test ride it first. No way I'd buy a bike without test riding it.
Perhaps if you had a "you break it, you own/pay for it" policy you might get more interest?

Hmmm, you're probably right. I should try and get rid of these suspicios pom tendancies of mine.

Alright, test rides for those with trustworthy faces, and for those without? Weeeeell, heck. You can have a go, too.
