Wanted top screen

Hi all.

im looking for a top screen to fit a BMW 650 GS Dakar model.

same as section above the head light of this picture.

any condition considered, no major cracks. scuffs ok.

for a project im working on, for an adventure bike.

pm if you know of one or have one you like to sell on.

going to make a better version of this set up.

this guy in aussy has used this screen to do it..his one his a bit straight up and down, so a few mods to his idea should do it....

so what year you reckon..

Not sure on the year of that one (cant see clear enough from the front)... i know most of them use the 3 bolt screen that was fitted to pre 03 dakar's, after 03 they went 4 bolt i think. Saw something similar on advrider in the dr650 screen thread

I reckon that is the 3 bolt dakar screen. Its definately not the stock screen though (too tall), there are plenty of tall ones out there (e.g. http://www.f650.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=221730&p=415244 )

Not cheap but are the best aftermarket ones you'll find. Still way cheaper than genuine BMW one. You could try wreckers, but ya might have to wait a fair while to find a good undamaged one.
I've thought about one for the DRZ as well, because you can fit GPS navi gear, roll chart and vapor tech speedo behind them, y'know, like the rally bikes.
