A Louisiana jury convicted a biker couple, Larry Suratt and Cynthia Anderson, of the second-degree murders of Larry Cook and Sheila Kirby, from Texas.
The jury was told how the Texas couple had lived with Suratt and Anderson for a few months, then moved out. Prosecutors say Suratt and Anderson had kicked the other couple out. Defence attorneys claimed the parting was friendly.
Suratt and Anderson then killed the other couple, removed their legs with a chain saw, sealed the cut-to-fit corpses and legs into plastic boxes, which were then thrown into the Bayou.
Suratt and Anderson face mandatory sentences of life in prison without any chance of parole.
