Yep I shall be there again!
Just curious is it appropriate to wear ACC protest shirt or would is this best not turned into a reason to display our anger and keep the focus on the real reason - charity to a worthwhile cause??? Anyone planning to wear theirs or have signs etc?

Just buy toys. Anything. Anything is better than nothing. It isn't technical. Set a budget, go into a toy shop and go, "I'll have that". Then label it Girl or Boy and roughly what age.
Done.

In previous years the road at the back of the Sandbar has been chocker with bikes as well as the front. This year there wasn't as many around there although the front was full as usual. Some very tasty rides around so I'm glad I was wearing a bib.

Hi All,
Many thanks for attending the toy run, Numbers were down on the last year. DJ & I really believe it had alot to do with the crap weather that was further up the line. Still a fantastic turn out - $5,000 handed to the Sallies along with all the toys. Thank you to all that kept the ACC Protest image to a low level (today was about the kids ;) )
Sponsorship is getting bigger and bigger every year and I hop everyone enjoyed themselves. I know I did on my BRAND new XR1200x (harley sporty, just picked it up from wmcc yesterday).
Cheers - Dubz

Wellington Toy Run
Hi all
Just wanna say thanks (I know sporty 883 has already) because the folk who have attended the 4th Annual Wellington Toy Run year after year since I started the ball rolling 4 years ago deserve a HUGE thanks!
I was thrilled to see so many familiar faces this year and look forward to seeing you all again next year - a shame the weather wasn't quite as we would like but still a great turn out
Next year will be the 5th so mark the 1st sunday in December on your calenders and watch out for something special - planning is already underway....

Heading north this morning, at the southern end of the Linden straight, there was a child's stuffed toy lying in the middle of the road. "That's odd," I thought. Moments later I was overtaken by a dude on a black M50 Boulevard with the head of some other stuffed animal flapping in the breeze in his rear pannier.
"Aha, Toy Run," I deduced.
A few minutes later, as we cruised through Mana, every Harley in christendom was in the car park at the shops getting briefed for the ride back into town.
The weather gods played ball and stopped them getting their stuffed toys and chrome wet. Nice.

Well done DJ and Dubz and everyone involved...another fantastic ride. If anyone else saw the wanker in the Jeep near Ngauranga (Diesel was giving him a right royal finger point), please feel free to report his driving to NZ Police. I *555d him on Sunday at Queens Wharf and followed up with a full Traffic Incident Report (not the useless Roadwatch letter) at the Station yesterday.
The more complaints about this arsehole the better.......

CDMTC pics are first, followed by the HOG toy run, so you may want to start at the last photo and do the slideshow backwards.
