Ya know damn well ya gonna regret it !
Lots of coin to have tied up i know, but perhaps a step in another direction within the sport ? You went from track day to the most competitive class there is !! Can see why your not having fun, would go as far as saying us tail end charlies holding everyone up in F2 would get more enjoyment out of what we are doing mate !!!
You've done far too much to promote racing, for anyone to just say ok see ya !!!
Take my trumpy out in F1 on the 26th 27th and do it for the hell of it, knowing its stock and the set up is alllll wrong hahaha and there aint no points to be had !!!
If my posties bike was ready i'd say try that (even more fun)

Don't be a poofta, Ed! You're just having a bad hair day.
You've put a lot of effort and commitment into your racing.... too much to chuck it.
It will look better in a week's time

 now that sounds like a darn good offer from sinny Ed.

Guess it really depends on your reasons for giving up, but Sinfull could be hitting the nail on the head?

anyhow for what ever your reasons, we hope to still see ya at the track, its not the same without ya smiling face there. Take care

I've seen a few racers in this position, I have been there myself.
Racing starts as fun, then it gets competitive, then it gets expensive, then the presure is on to perform well while everyone wants to beat ya.
The expense keep increasing, end result is too much presure and racing is not fun anymore.
I gave up racing for 15 years and have just got back into Posties and am determined to keep it as "just fun" and avoid the old traps as above.
Hopefully some time off will see ya right and then come back for the fun of the sport we all love.
All the best for the future and good luck with the sale.

I had a funny feeling you were going to do this. Good on you for seeing the signs pointless doing something if you are not 100% into it. But PLEASE stay involved in the sport, It's not mine to say but thank you for what you have done for the sport in such a short time, ie bringing LG to motorcycle racing and the stuff you have done for the winter series and of course your help with me trying to find sponsorship. See you at the track I hope!

Aaaaaaaaah the beauty of being blardy hopeless, no-one expects fuck-all, ya give 'em fuck-all and ya have a ball doin' it..........come to think of it that sounds disturbingly like my sex-life.....
