Drivng back from Ruapehu today saw lots of bikes out, two that caught my eye in Taumaranui was a green Triumph Trident and later on a very early 50's Vincent Comet.
Both were being ridden as the makers intended.

It's strange watching a Vincent from behind as the whole rear end moves.....including the rear seat, guard and light.
The Comet kept up a good pace all the way to Auckland.

The Trident passed me twice.....??? and I passed the Vincent just to hear the engine.

Got me thinking about my not used for 10 years T110 :(

Would love to have seen that.

It takes a hell of a lot of work to keep those old bikes roadworthy And to do a proper ride rather than just a show is quite something else.

Fair play to them.

Nice! Kinda day that makes you glad you were out and motivates you to do something with your own classic, eh?

Bet the Vincent sounded great!
