r6 08-09 models

Hey guys just want a lil bit of help.
I was told that the 08 and 09 r6 is the same shape, so foolishly without any researching spotted a nice new double bubble windscreen on tard me pretty cheep say its for a 07-08. buy the screen thinking "sweet 08 = 09" and surprise, it doesn't fit. my emails to the guy i bought it off asking him whats going on have been unawnsered.

next question would be, anyone want to buy a cheep screen off me, this is the same, except mine is smokey tint not dark tint.

The model years for the R6 are 99-2002, 2003-2005 (although 05 has USD forks), 2006-2007, 2008-

The 2006 and 2008 bikes do look the same from a distance, but they are infact two very different bikes cosmetically, and also in terms of chassis etc.

Hopefully he'll admit his cock up, because there isn't a lot that is interchangable between the two different models.

Also, if you are buying from Ebay, be sure to check you aren't buying an item for an 'R6S' - that's the 2004 model that is still on sale to the US, unchanged from 2004.

yeah i was pretty sure i was right, and that this is probably a 06-07 screen not a 07-08. have emailed him twice an still no reply. he still sells screens on trade me, but im kind of holding off hijacking his auctions to hit him up about it:weep:
