Had to take my cat into the vet to have her teeth seen to - (remove plaque etc etc). She's 11 years old - I think. "Routine Maintenance" they call it...

I should have been a vet. Estimated cost for dental maintenance for pussycat - $450.00!!...coulda bought something cool for the bike with that sorta money....:crybaby:

Maintenance is still far cheaper than ending up with a cat that has infected gums and needs teeth removed. I had to get my cats teeth cleaned, but now I have put it on the hills catfood t/d (tooth diet). Hopefully with the new food I wont have to pay to get the cats teeth cleaned again.

Do I get to keep the rights to the video? I'd make a fortune with the video of someone riding over that bridge on a bike that wasn't made for it!

What about a boat? You do the bridge on a GN150 and I'll buy you a boat and a couple of bikini clad chicks for the bow out of the video royalties. Hang on a sec... you probably wouldn't be allowed... reckon he'd let you?

You aren't actually contemplating spending $450 on dental work for an 11 year old domestic cat are you?

If the c*** doesn't smile broadly at you every time it sees you I'd be well pissed off.

The vet assured me she now has a Hollywood smile....it bloody better have...

When all is said and done, I believe that if you have an animal you have to look after it. I hate to see neglected pets. Or hear them like the bloody dog across the gully that barks all day when owners are away at work....

This cat has been with me ten years and has cost me practically nothing in all that time apart from cat chow. So I don't begrudge the odd high bill. But I will tell her to watch her expenses from now on in...

My kids were 23 before they realised what 'the dog's gone to live on the farm' meant.

I don't recall you ever doing so - but you are also barred from bleating about the cost of acc or new bike prices for 1 year.

It does show you how much human meds are subsidised ah?

The drugs to knock an animal out alone costs nearly $100. That's even before you allow for vet time (which is less hourly rate than a doc).

The folks got one of their mongrels teeth done. Ended up ripping out a couple they were so far gone. Hate to think what that bill is gonna be. And she's nearly 10yo as well. Teach them for feeding their dogs crap (which also makes their breath stink like shit :D)

Actually she looked at me rather balefully when I collected her this morning...I could pretty well hear her muttering under her breath...

It cost $450.45 BTW...she better not get run over in the next few weeks..!
