I have a Ducati M400 but now that I have my 6F it is now time to ride with the big boys but I face a dilema. Do I go for a standard 900 or the S4? Can anyone offer any advice? What I really want to know is, is the difference in performance between the two engines substantial enough to warrant the additional servicing cost of the S4? Does the S4 totally piss all over the S2 or is the difference only marginal? Oh, by the way, anyone interested in an M400? Extremely well looked after having only just come out of Haldanes workshop from its full 20k service includimg brand new rear tyre, rear sprocket and chain and rear brake assembly ($1700 spent in total) and loads of after market goodies. I love her to bits and she rides a treat but I need more power. Has hole in right carbon muffler, otherwise pretty much mint. Haldanes have offered 5K with trade in but I think she is worth more than that... Will consider trade-in for a M900 or bigger.
