Right, well as the euro trip had to be postponed and shorted due to 'unforseen circumstances' it was decided a practice trip to John O' Groats and back would be a good idea.

So, after very nearly writing my bike off two weeks in advance of the leaving day and throwing a new fairing on the night before we left all was good to go :niceone:

I'm not really much of a story teller so i think i'll let the pictures so the talking.

:lol::lol: (lived in Scotland myself for 20 years) Ahhh midgees, the toothless piranha of the sky... I gave up riding in Winter after season 2... tearing a bike down over the winter with no shed and an irate wife just didn't seem to work for me for some reason... but really god to see pics of the old country again...

I spent the whole of August in Scotland.

It's a stunningly beautiful place.

Ill trade you one tropical summer for your Scottish winter

and our midges have all manner of strange deaseases

I am currently touring Scotland

I am in Islay at the moment , then moving up to Speyside sometime soon

then over to a place called Glen2fiddy or something like that

Well done that country !

Stephen

Mind you the Irish have been up to no good as well , might go there instead

I was practising tonight ,,,I didn't realise , 26 bucks a bottle , for a 12 year old single malt

Sod beer , this stuff is cheaper than water ( almost ) and considerably less than where i have been drinking of late

the last bar bill was 17 000 yen for few bits of meat on a stick and 2 beers

I am off to bed now after drowning in a sea of single malt

thank ,,,,, I am self employed
