'Welcome our contestants in this Streetfighter comparison: The Ducati Streetfighter, Buell 1125CR, and the Aprilia Tuono 1000R.'

'You want the best all-around Streetfighter? Then you need the 2009 Buell 1125CR.'

What! No Buell XB12STT in there?

Bugger...looks like I'll have to just be happy "knowing" that it's the best :woohoo:

They shouldn'ta lengthened the swing arm - woulda looked cooler and more compact with the same wheel base as the 1198, and would've handled sharper.

From what I've read it should be more of an animal than it actually is.

Looks gorgeous from some angles but shite from others. Hate the monsteresque single sided dual cans.

Except sitting on it leaving smudged lines on every corner exit. Mind you, I like ugly.

Besides, none of them are streetfighters. Manufacturers can try and milk it as a concept all they like, but you can't buy a streetfighter from a store.

/edit: Well, that's not totally true... if they took an 1125R and kicked it over on both sides, ripped off the fairings, put a naked bike headlight on it, and sold it as is, then they'd be selling a streetfighter.

it out does the XB....

but i will not be selling my XB anytime soon though.. as i love em both....

one word of cation though... if you get the chance to ride one.... DON"T GRAB the front brake..... a GENITAL squeeze with 2 fingers is all it needs to slow from any speed....

I spied a Streetfighter at Casbolts today and went in for a perv.:woohoo:

It's sitting next to a S4R and LBD's super mint Tri Colore.

Tough competition in the beauty contest with a couple of faithful supermodels showing their class against the young new comer.

It appears I prefer a bit of maturity in my bikes as the older models got my tick in the looks department.

Then there was the 1125 a couple of doors down at Rolling Thunder, it's the side boobs I keep questioning on Erics styling.

At least the new Triumph Thunderbird a couple of doors down in the other direction was a pleasant surprise - it really isn't as big as it looks in photos.

I used to hum and har about the side boobs until I dropped an 1125R and did no damage.

I'm sold on side boobs.

The unkindest squeeze of all.

what like a wart?......

The 1125's don't look all that crash hot in photos,
but look a hell of a lot nicer in person...
