Ok, so here's the story. I was on another forum and one of the members was selling a computer CPU. I PM him and arrange to buy it, he agrees to the sale and sends his bank details.

I deposit the money and get no response for a bit. Start to question what;s going on and then get a PM from one of the admins telling me the little grommit had been boasting abotu scamming someone, and gave me the links to the screenshots of the convo. Well it went from me wanting to kick seven shades of $%@$ out of him to getting a laugh in the end.

End result his mother is reimbursing me for the money I paid, and he is the laughing stock currently.

Have a read for some giggles.

Aaaaah, the old Mum trick.
That worked wonders for me when the local scam artist traded me a Shiney Revived Raditz DBZ card, and stole back the cards he swapped for.
I got my mum to go to his house and then Mumx2 had a meeting, worked perfectly

Glad you didn't fall for someone a bit older who would have def. kept your $$$. The thread was quite funny, I'm guessing he's 16-17?

aar0n-afk is a legend on the GP forums. He works for one of the companies that racks people down.

He was a huge help in getting things sorted out last night.

It was funny he wound up talking to the kid's mum. I was starting to think I would have had to ask some fine gentlemen from here to stop off at his place and see if they could collect my refund for me.

That is awesome! Nothing worse than being scammed.
