I just ordered a Pizza from Hells....

I dont even like Pizza but theres no food here. My sister spent all the money my mum gave her on bills. Now i realise that Hells dont have mobile eftpos, and i dont have cash. Nearest ATM is about 3kms away but the whole point of Pizza was so i didnt have to leave home.

Looks like im going for a run....

The next time, just run with your EFPOS card to the Pizza shop.

Or get free delivery from Pizza Hut. http://slingshot.co.nz/BetterPlace.aspx Hit the pizza hut box couple times, when it asks for details, just leave it blank, hit go. Free delivery!

And you can use all the pickup pizza codes. Can't really go wrong with 3 pizzas and a garlic bread delivered to your door for $18.

Go on you lot!! Rub it in that you can get 'real' pizza delivery!!...:angry2: Small town folk like moi, are lucky if we get a decent 'gourmet' pizza :gob::oi-grr:, and if we want to buy the pizza meal deal, we are better off going to the supermarket and buying frozen ones!! Option 2 = picking up takeaway on the way home from (in my case) Tauranga, and eating semi 'soft/soggy' pizza...:violin:

Whats wrong with you guys??

Home made pizzas are soo easy. And taste much better then the bought ones too!

And the feeling of achievement is just what we need when all other turns to shit. (So I have heaps of experience of making pizzas...)

I was thinking about this thread (you know you're tragic when you catch yourself thinking about a KB thread even when you're not on KB...) Anyway I was wondering how much you would get for your money at the supermarket if you were going to make your own pizza.

First I went to www.hellpizza.co.nz and chose an Envy (random selection). Then I went to www.woolworths.co.nz to find out how much all the ingredients would cost:

pizza bases (3 pack)
tomato paste
cheese
mushrooms
ham
bacon
onion
salami
pineapple

The total for my shopping basket came out at $26.45. To get these items delivered would be an extra $14.95. That's a total of $41.40 for three pizzas. The total for three Envy pizzas delivered from Hell would be $49.60.

So that's a difference of $8.20 between getting the pizzas made for you and delivered, compared to getting the ingredients delivered and doing it yourself.

Obviously if you picked everything up yourself the difference would be greater ($42.60 from Hell or $26.45 from Woolworths = $16.15 difference).

When on special at Woolworths Baked beans 99c's a can, you could buy 27 cans of the stuff and have change to boot, would keep you well fed and a bonus is you would lose a bit of weight by the time they are eaten.:sweatdrop

And you would have no friends left so you wouldn't have to share your food! Excellent plan!

I can't seem to hit the supermarche and spend anything less than $50. MadbikeBabe won't even let me near the place now (my fiendish plan has worked...!).

But, but, but EVERYTHING tastes better when someone else makes it though!!
