hey guys, i need your advise on a tail tidy. was almost sick when i saw the price they are for a piece of folded metal with four holes, so "designed" one up.got it made for free through one of my dads clients, has a bit of a steep angle on it, but its actually really visable.
what i want to know is if there is a rule or law on licence plate placement, angle, etc or whatever to see how w.o.f-able it is.

may also think of selling it has a kit, cause ive done a bit of work so you dont need to cut holes or anything and has come up pretty mean and will be able to use your stock indicators.

its for my r6 btw if you hadnt figured that out:innocent:

I am also trying to sort out a casual tail tidy, I have looked into the LTNZ registration policies, and there is an act specifically for registration plates, which has a sub category for trailers or bikes.
It basically states that it needs to be clearly visible from behind the motorbike. there were no references to angles specifically.

If you like i could trawl through the LTNZ website to pull up the act again and post it here. but its fairly vague to be honest.

I'm keen to find out if its ok to mount the license plate up inside the wheel arch just above the back wheel?

Has anyone mounted their plate like this and had any grief with the law?
