View Full Version : Riding to impress the ladies.

Just a quick note. If you happen to be passing showgirls and decide that ripping open your throttle will impress the ladies, please make sure that there isnt a vehicle in front of you. If you fail to heed this advice the ladies may be less impressed than you intended, especially if you almost cause a crash then in your blind panic run a red light in front of the police team policing unit. In related advice, it is probably unwise to ride a motorbike within 20 meters of a police station if you have the self control of a three year old child.

Disclaimer: I was not the high on testosterone motorcyclist. I was cage-bound, but saw this ham-fisted rider, saw that his riding was sub-par (perhaps one beer too many), and managed to prevent him from becoming the meat in a car sandwich.

Dunno 'bout "riding to impress the ladies:, but the biker I saw this morning (about 8am, on the Northern, headed south just past Tristram) popping a wheelie while lanesplitting certainly impressed me. (And yes, I'm, easily impressed)

Alas, I was in the automobile, as even though my bike is back together again after round 3 (or is it 4?) of the supension upgrade, I was toooooo farking tired to brave both being only seminonhuman, the wetness of the road, and the possibility that my hurried after work assembly of the VFR was less than perfect. I know the wheel's the right way round, and that there were no bolts left over, and the forks go up'n'down (or is that "in'n'out"?), but... there's a nagging doubt that it's All Good. I seemed even more hamfisted than usual last night...
If Owen Lee I'd got Dr Taylor to do the Whole Damned Job from the Very Start.... :crybaby:

I guess ladies don't need to do anything to impress the guys except ride then?

Or do they have to be popping monos and leaving black marks out of corners to impress guys?

For me, they just do it by riding a bike! :niceone:

Not often you hear 'Ladies' and 'Showgirls' in the same sentence.

 I would have been very impressed if I had seen that! Perhaps not in the way that the rider intended, but impressive nevertheless! :wari:

this could be time to invoke the "Ladies please don't behave like hookers clause"

ie: let's be nice to each other shall we ?

So what you're saying is that if you sell your body, you're not a lady, or can't be a lady??? I have an issue or 2 with that... :girlfight:

If the ladies i have known, had behaved like the stereotypical lady that you're alluding to, i would have had to have paid for the memories I have now... and apart from 1 or 2, i would class all of the ladies I have known as ladies...

Typical male response :woohoo:

hmmm I haven't found any issues... unless I've matured and now have the self control of a 5 year old? :wari:

reminds me of the time I turned to wave to a girl who pumped gas that I had my eyes on, and turned back just in time to hit a traffic island in full view of her lol.......not good!

good point... in that case, I have indeed had issues with self control, but there wasn't a police station anywhere nearby.

Out near Takaka, nearing an easy right hander, I'm heading towards it, and spy some bikini clad chicks out the corner of my left eye. Look for a better assessment, missed them, double checked the road, fark, why am I on the edge of the road, heading for a barrier I don't really remember :eek5: Just got it under control, still reluctantly wishing I could sneak another peek...

Ask gijoe... he was puzzled as hell how I managed to fluff a basic corner

What the idjit on the Katoom sez, pootling easy as you like then all of a sudden a massive cock up on an easy corner ... I noticed girlies on the side and put two n'two together (though I dare say Gremlin would liked to have done a bit more than that!)

Even after Gremlin negotiated the corner, I could still see him trying to look around in frustration. Oh how I would have laughed if he cannoned over the barrier because of that!

Mind you, at least he ain't like the other showboats who like to blip their throttle riding through Mt Maunganui to try and get the attention of hotties (though its even funnier when its the same sex turning around to look!)

The best "riding to impress the ladies" should involve pillioning and safely depositing them at the end point of the journey. In one piece and having enjoyed the vibrations of the boik and the aural beauty of the exhaust.

Works wonders.

The thing that I like in a woman is my penis. Just kidding ladies, I am actually a very decent sensitive guy that likes long walks on the beach (after sex).
