How you all doin. I have been watching for a few days cause this is all new to me. Thought I might post something tonight. Turned 42 the other day and thought I should get back into riding. I used to ride a bit in woodhill and a couple of other places. I was 32 when I sold my last bike. Sold it in 1999, it was a 1990 XR250R. I know. It was a dog but I rode it hard and it was good to me. I bought a CRF450R 2 weeks ago and rode it for the time last weekend at Woodhill:gob: Shit technology has come along way. Yahoo what a blast! Can't wait till I have this thing dialled in and give those tracks a good nudge!! The bike park is very different but good. Really looking forward to some other trail rides as well. Cheers.
Great to be back!!

Welcome. I'm sure the CRF feels just a little different to your old XR. Just remember that CRF maintenance schedule is a lot more intensive than your old XR.

Thanks for the welcome and yes I have been informed that the new generation 4 strokes are high maintenance. Cheers.

I wouldn't say they are high maintenance (they're not ducati's) They are just more frequent maintenance than an XR. Keep on top of it and you'll have few (if any) problems.
