Hi
I have a rusty chrome headlight and I am looking to replace it or get it rechromed
Any idea of the cost?
Is there anyone in auckland you would recommend?
Thanks for your help

Thanks for your helpAre you refering to just the rim or the whole headlight assy including backshell?
For comparison purposes a complete aftermarket Emgo/WFO chrome backshell with H4 bulb and lense can be had for around $100-150. Ones with plastic backshells around $75-100. Should be available through any bike shop.

Otahuhu crome platers, www.chromeplaters.co.nz, can do the job. I have no idea how much. Like Bonez said, it would probably be a cheaper proposition to replace with an aftermarket one.

Grab the yellow pages and phone your nearest electroplater, they can all do it. If it's got serious rust it will have pitted though so you'll get it back all shiny but still looking like crap.
