View Full Version : So you ride an ADV bike: What car would you LIKE to have in your garage?

Heh it is a wet day so, enough of what we have in our garages, what car (within reason) would you like to have in your garage and why?
If it is something exotic post a picture of it.
For me, I am a rally fan from way back, sure the Group B cars (Quattros, Lancias etc) were very exciting. But for me it would have to be a Lancia Stratos. A beautiful looking car that at the time was racing against Mark 2 Escorts etc.
Those were the days when the drivers raced at night also, so the cars had banks of lights across the front that made them even hornier.
So what about the rest of you?

i'd be happy having my old Pajero back, enough room for the kids, cheap to run and go anywhere for fishing and hunting. plus it had a bitching stereo:Punk:

Well if you are limiting it to cars I'd to give a Audi RS4 wagon ago (wife is keen on this one as well)
http://www.stahmann-motorsports.com/Audi/RS4/RS4%20White%20Pack%205.JPG
Oh I'm sorry all that file was too big in pixels - funny thing though it is less than 100kb file size limit. Stupid blood rule - surely the file size is more important than the dimensions. You'll just have to click the link to look at the nice white RS4 wagon.
If we are being a bit more liberal and meaning any light four wheeled vehicle I'd be putting a Bowler Wildcat in the garage. In the words of the Hampster "I am a driving god!" - well I'd have fun trying anyway. :Punk::Punk::Punk:

One that runs on bullshit.
Just plug a USB cable in, log onto KB, and hey presto, fuel for eternity.
Otherwise, a 73 Plymouth Satelite. Jet Black, Jacked at the back, and ready to hunt down Chevy's.

Just to be really unusual.
1971-2 Toyota Crown Super Saloon with a V8 conversion.
So uncommon I can't even find a decent pic on the interweb but back in the day I used to drive a standard 2.6 litre one.

One of only about 6 factory Manual EB V8 Fairmont Ghia's built. More rare than the EBGT. Had it for 10 years, and it's probably worth nothing. :whocares:

I could if I didn't have to keep paying rego on a car to sit on the lawn. What happened to the good old days when you didn't have to register a vehicle until you needed it? I kept it as a back up until I got the Pajero back on the road.

If I wanted a car for the fun-factor, I'd buy a Vanwall GPR V12 (http://www.vanwallcars.com/html/gpr_v12.html).
If I wanted a car for a bit more practicality (only a bit though), I'd buy a 70's Aston Martin Vantage.
Forgetting, of course, any pretensions of budgets.
