Here;s a true story about how nostalgia kicks ass. I used to live in Spain when I
was a toddler and this guy would park his jet black VESPA outside of our apartment.

Now I've just bought this beautiful Yamaha JOG. And its perfect! Bright new yellow paint job. Just got it serviced and the mechanics at scooterazzi said the engine is in perfect condition - clean as a whistle. Its the fastest bike in its class in the country and I got the exhaust de-restricted so it can go even faster. And boy does it FLY - 50kpm up Mt Vic no problem!

But I still cant get the style and shape of a VESPA out of my head - and I know its due to me seeing one everyday, outside my house, when my brain was developing - its a permanent image that my eyes enjoy seeing.

So I'm offering my YAMAHA as a bargaining chip to anyone whom may want to do a trade. I'm open minded and open to suggestions from anyone whom may be interested.

P.S: Are there any Scooter gangs hanging around in Wellington? I want to join one! :Punk::2guns::shit:

50kpm = 50 kilometres per minute? :shit:

A decent old school vespa will set you back a fair bit more than $1600 these days. I use to have a 1976 Bajaj/Vespa Super 150. I paid $800 for it, rode it for 9mths then the motor siezed and I sold it for $800. The same scooter, in the same condition as it was when I bought it would easily be getting $2k on tradme these days :bye:

Lucky you not losing any money on your VESPA by the way,

Hope you find someone willing to trade or buy the Jog. It's a fantastic little scoot. Throw in a 70cc kit and you'll fly off the clock. That however wouldn't replace a Vespa, would it? Welcome back Vespiti :D
