Takes a while to dry out in there, bit of rain this week would make it good fun. Riverhead is a fun place to ride, all sorts of stuff to ride.

I'll be in Christchurch riding flashy pedal powered Dirt bikes.
I will aim for some big puddles just so I feel like I havn't missed out.
..... Plus I ain't cleaning these bikes.

When is the next trail ride after this at riverhead?
Wmcc seem to have some challenging trails. Nearly ate it quite a few times.

Good shit, should be good. They are saying a few showers Sat which should liven it up, although will prob change before that.

Tried your helmet cam at the weekend, kept getting it caught on stuff and mostly filmed the sky, will try again at this ride.

Only tuesday mate, eat some bland food you'll be right. Come it should be good.

Video was good, but it gets caught on shit out at the sandpit and winds up filming the sky pretty quickly.

I'm eating bland food. Its still not good. I've dropped 3kg..... I'm just going to go to the zoo and look at those monkeys instead of you monkeys.

I've sold my helmet camera. Got annoyed with it. I think if you're going to bother, you better to get a really good one like Keiths one that you get some high quality video from. You really need image stabalisers and shit. Plus I wanted some money to get new boots!

good fun picking your lines around and over roots. Used to hate them till i figured out how to ride them. Still a big challenge but heaps of fun..

They seem to go best if you avoid them :), failing that straight on or aim for fork/v, failing that be prepared for the bike to kick. Got to say the new S12's seemed to go well @ the dead toad, maybe combo of a minimal amount of technique & new tires :).

mate what a day, it was pretty slick in places, i just couldnt get it together, had a couple of off's (in the same place on the track both times) bikes dirty, my legs f***ed, im sooooooooo glad it didnt rain.

Awesome ride, had some gnarly hill climbs in there haha. Was flying up a hill and some dudes had stoped, but I didnt really wanna get stuck either so I just gunned it.. my barkbuster nicked his.. could have been bad haha!

That was a good ride really liked the expert hill climbs. Thought it was pretty dry though and not so much of a slog as last years. Some parts were slick as still tho haha. Very cool how long the loop was and the clear fell section was mint.

We did ride a lot in the past, back when Greg ran the sandpit park. He really enjoys pitting for the races though, we've got it locked down!

He's planning on getting another bike around Christmas when the races die down abit..
