Yes it is very impressive, you have to admire the amount of work that goes into getting them to that condition. Vern:2thumbsup

Bill Richardson passed away before the 2006 Burt rally. I wasnt interested in looking at trucks, but tagged along with the group. One of our group was an aquaintance of Bills daughter, and did we get the tour. I think its open to all entrants of the Burt rally each year. Normally its "by appointment only" I think they want groups of 12 or more sort of thing.

The Texaco truck is one of four remaining in the world. Its immaculate, Texaco came over and offered Bill Richardson an open cheque for it, his reply was "its not for sale", they replied you dont understand "we have a blank cheque" he didn't care , he was already a multimillionare. Money wasn't that important to him. Everything in the museum is restored by local talent. Its friggen awesome

Was bloody awesome, alright!
I was amazed at the 190 and F1800 Internationals... they looked like new trucks

I've worked on and driven a lot of the trucks in the museum in the day (not the ones actually there),stuff from the '50's '60's and '70's anyway.Lots of character.Partly obscured behind this nice International is an AS Inter - I once had an AS110,used it as my dirtbike hauler in the early '70's.4mpg....
