The 6th annual Pink Ribbon Charity Ride.
Sunday 11 October 2009 - 9.30am
Depart: 10.30am sharp

New Starting Venue:
Auckland Netball Centre car park

End: Western Springs Stadium

Badges: $10.00

All motorcyclists, men, women, plus trikes and scooters welcome!

The ride starts at 10.30 and will be at Western Springs by 11.15 at the latest. You don't need to stay for the goodie part afterwards if you don't want to. :msn-wink:

Usually we don't bother unless someone requests it, but I just happen to be checking the date for this year. Gif's coming in her pink motorbike jacket and pink KB shirt. :p So don't forget to request it next year.

Are you gonna to leave a large note at the old starting point? I'm sure some will turn up at it.

Right the weather for the next few days looks like crap but the met service assure me that Sunday will be fine so dust off your pink glad rags, decorate your bike and come along and support a great cause.

What a fabulous day. The sun shone, 432 bikes turned out and the total amount raised will be closer to $13500.00 than the $11000.00 announced yesterday.

What an excellent turn out.........we have our Pink Ribbon Ride in Newcastle NSW on Saturday 24th October but we don't have as many as you got on your ride.
Toto's video was great and even the police waved.
We all ride out west to Denman and stay at the pub overnight and we have a raffle and an auction and it's a good weekend. We have the local TV station taking footage and we get on the 6 o'clock news.
The blokes at our ride like to dress up in pink even more than the girls do I think: (that's a worry)
