Thanks for getting the ball rolling for this monumentous occassion:niceone:. As some of you know I live in martinborough and have a ten acre paddock so if you want to make it a Rapa day, ride over the hill, BBQ at mine etc then i am happy to open the gate. Plenty of room for bikes, cars, tents, sleeping bags etc for those who will be partaking of a little liquid refreshment:apint: Partners, kids etc all welcome
But - as most of you live in Welly/Kapiti something closer to those areas may be more appropriate.
Anyway - I know there wil be heaps of suggestions and we will eventually come up with a PLAN

If we pass the 300 before we get togeather i suggest we just use the 300th tag as we do by using no. 1 for the photos.

the game goes regardless....i reckon the "celebration tags" remain a seperate entity....tags 299 and 300 are reserved for the celebration,so the game jumps from 298 to 301.My vote would be for teh sunday but whatever....I might even marshall agin which would take me out tof the celebrations anyway.....

Seems Manfields universally acceptable???

Those unable to travel to Manfield could:

Meet at TAG #1 for the 299 shot or
Meet on way to MF (at Pram maybe) to catch one for ScouT (on call poor sod) and BaldY (on OUTLAW parole poor sod) as well as any other coastie that cant make the journey

Basically make 3 official photo locations for the massive 300 day out

Petone- Pram and the Pits at MF suit everyone?

Anyone have a better idea to share?

i'm not too keen on riding all teh way up to manfeild on the GN... i have done it before and it is no fun... plus with wife at 37weeks pregnant i cant really go out of the welly area. paraparam or Martinborough are ok distances though... as long as im within an hours or 2 ride from Hutt hospital.

since most of you are going to manfeild was thinking we could do tag #1 then ride over the hill to Martinborough and get tag 300 in front of the park with all the bikes lined up with us standing behind them. (cant get over there to take the pic so thought be best just to say where.)

then the rest of you going to manfeild have a nice ride the back way.

Sorry to be an old stick in the mud, but i really would love to hold this off so we can get EVERYONE at the Tag pic. And thats proabably going to be an impossibilty anyway. I know the chances of us getting a weekend where we are all available are just about nigh impossible, esp with Mr & Mrs Drog's impending baby arrival. Could be an idea to all meet up on saturday or sunday (looking at the weather, preferably sunday) early morning and cruise on off to Martinborough. Meet up at 7am, Cruise on over to Martinborough and have a coffee and a yak, then those who want to go and do some serious riding, or do some tagging, or go home and do the washing, you would have all day to do so.
