Suzuki GSR 250 2010 model

The request for entry-level naked motorcycles in Brazil and Europe will be satisfied starting 2010 also with the all-new Suzuki GSR250.

Expected to be presented later this year, the small, versatile and quite possibly fun bike draws inspiration from the B-King and GSR600, while power (30bhp, to be precise) comes from a quarter-liter, liquid-cooled, DOHC fuel-injected engine. The parallel-twin unit stands for user-friendliness, the spacious seat stands for comfort and the under-seat storage is meant to make the GSR250 a bit practical. Also, there’s a digital LCD screen to keep things modern and fancy.

There’s no word on price yet, but if the thing’s cheap, it will surely find its home in South America and Europe.

Its kinda gay how they are all going with twins these days for 250s though.

Twin exhausts suck too, means double cost to replace them.

That's a very nice little bike!

Agree about the twins though. This could have been the rebirth of the Bandit, sure has the looks required.

On the other hand, at least it's unassuming for a twin with it's naked styling. I think it works a whole heap better than the ninja 250s and Hyosung GTs.

I call it a win.

Another new addition to the new street stock 4stroke twin class.Looks good for a first bike or commuter.Would like to know if the chrome quality is any good unlike gn250.

I just bought my entry level 250 Ninja. Being a bit taller than average I was quite disappointed in my selection of new 250's. I didnt really want to go for a 20yr old Honda or Yamaha. I thought the Gn250 wud have been a better choice than the new VN250 cruiser, which I didnt like sitting on. Unfortunately they dont make the Gn250 anymore. The hyo gtr250r just plain hurt to sit on for more than 5 seconds. Nope, the kwaka feels just right. Please dont eat me poppa bear. I welcome any 250 commuter bikes as there is definately a big market for them. The 125 CBR and new Yamaha 125 just dont have the punch for safe motorway commuting, and I was well informed would struggle to 100-110km/h, with my weight on it and I'm not THAT fat.

The riding position looks to be a little better than the Ninja, which I bought. I've seen Ninja's with bar raisers and they look s.....t. This would have been very interesting to try. Lot of extra stuff on it though, I wonder what it weighs?
