I just brought a pair of fly stingers from MrMotorcycles for $130 delivered
they offer great protection but don't last particularly well (last pair were rooted after 12-18 months of fairly regular use) but you can't argue with the price (or the next day delivery)

Gees that's not long.....but guess you wear them ALOT. Are they comfy?
Craig's had ten years out of his Fox boots (trail riding use only). They are still all in one piece, never been repaired or buckles replaced etc. Pretty uncomfortable now tho (has to resort to plasters in strategic places) - has a pair of Forma ATV boots on order since April....not due in till November FFS!

Yeah just ordered a pair as well. Seems like a pretty good deal. Never had anything from Fly before so can't comment on the build or material quality. But for the price......

That looks like a bargain to me.

Hmmm, looking for a pair to use on the XR as my road boots are on their last legs and the XR pegs are not helping.
Wasn't thinking of full on type mx boots but for that price i might have to pop down for a look.
Cheers, Mark.

they have good solid soles so they don't tire your feet out standing on serrated pegs and I can vouch for their good ankle support protecting your tootsies when you go tits up
bitches of things to walk in - but that's what you'd expect

Fly Stinger ATV's are shorter, have better soles and no metal instep.
Good to walk in but not good for standing on the pegs for hours.
I'll get another pair.

Mine have lasted 12 months and are still ok apart from one buckle ripped out...bloody Toi Toi.... but they don't offer great ankle protection from rotation. I had a fairly nasty ankle sprain because the boot hooked up and twisted, and I mean can't walk for 7 days and ligament damage 5 months later.
Pay more if you can afford it as feet and ankles get nailed a lot.
Gaerne's or Axo's next for me, I just need to sell some offspring to afford it!

Just had mine delivered - overnight. Impressed with BOTH Mr.Motorcycle service AND the Stingers. They look to be a hell of alot more robust than road boots (as expected) and not very flimsy from what I can tell in any aspect.
Just wearing them around the house today to try to soften them up a bit. Good fit. May even cut the grass with them on - we have tall hedges.:sweatdrop

I wear them on 8-12hr day adv rides and find comfort is fine as long as I only try walking from the bike to the coffee shop and back. Any distance walking quickly becomes an exercise in discomfort but its worth it for the protection

I may be being blonde but I thought/think the ankle protection was great - I must not ride hard core enough - I'll get a ktm one day

Might have a look at a pair of these (short boots for a short person). My Gearne things are stuffed.
My only concern is that they don't have a single panel down the inside leg. I've had problems in the past with the seam catching on the footpeg, and the boot ripping. Almost assed off a few times. I'm pretty good at falling off without being aided by a shit pair of boots.
