You still need to read the dictionary. Perhaps a better understanding of English might go some way in increasing your credibility of what you post.
This is from your blog. I have no idea of who you are trying to impress with useing fancy words but it sure as hell not me.
dichotomy: a division into two, as in sharply defined.
But in true Paris style there were a few surprises. One of them was the beautiful dichotomy between the total and utter lack of available taxis (for us hoity toity business travellers), and the corresponding lack of other traffic on the road.
There is no division in the lack of taxis and the corrosponding lack of other traffic.
Instead of slagging other kiwi bikers in order to look impressive, it might be good idea to use the right word for the meaning that you are attempting to convey.

Its real evident that those who slag of at the Police force are those that have had (in thier own minds) a raw deal. Now when it come to KFC  BK  or McD's ;) if you get a raw deal from either of these food outlets, would you go back for seconds?...probably not eh?

I am sure there are some super nice and helpful police-folks. I'm not going to damn them all - they are human beings with feelings and families, just like me.
But somehow when I need their help it never works out, and somehow, when I make the tiniest mistake they are there to milk it hard. :oi-grr:
So yeah I feel pretty jaded about the cops. I'm not going to them for help any more. Sorry, cops - I don't trust you. If thats a problem for you then fix it. But somehow I don't think it will be..

There is no way to tell with the example that you have given as they are incomplete. But understanding the meaning of the words that you use will add to the 'idea' that your are conveying. I'd concentrate on that and leave the syntax 'till later. Oh and the name calling what's with that? Some kind of self indulgence to make you feel better. Well if it helps..........go for it.

Go away.Yep that's true, have been privy to some dealings with cops on behalf of others, witness etc.And some of the things they convey to people can be interpreted entirely differently between 3 or 4 people.End of the day who ya going ta call.I hate getting pinged for speeding, but realise the time court far outways the times not.Except those bloody speed cameras on Ngauranga Gorge,92 km in 80 zone, downhill,no traffic, and still have to pay.

I respect the investigator who locks up the theives rapists and murderers, just not the cop trying to cover his salary with the tickets he gives, fair enough when they are being dangerous but some cases are just stupid. Like one night a cop pulled over my sister and asked, what are you doing out this late? , if i see you again tonight im gonna give you a ticket. WTF. and my dad got pulled over at 2 a.m and the cop asked what you doing out this late? dad said umm night shift. cumon' coppa pull ya head in

I know there's a number of spotty pubescent "bikers" in here that walk tall, act tough, and haven't got a fucking clue...
And there are one or two that genuinely have a FUCK THE POLICE attitude, would be willing to take the law into their own hands, smash a few cops up... and I'd be delighted to see them/you off the streets.

not exactly eloquent, are you mate? there's a reason most people are too smart to spout off in the face of cops (at least around here).. and that's because cops have guns, batons, pepper spray, tasers etc. And at least around these parts, no matter what they do.. they don't get charged for anything ever. Whether it's the 4 cops who tased a confused old polish man in victoria(vancouver?) airport, and killed him (all on tape no less) to the local (Edmonton) off duty officer who got liquored up and beat the shit out of a random yokel. They simply do not get punished for their actions (in Canada at least) in any way. They're all pretty much a giant gang, and if you think they are here to protect you then you are sadly mistaken. Cops are only around to protect private property of the rich. I hate cops as much as almost anyone, but I'm not stupid enough to walk up and pick a fight with one. If that makes me a "chicken shit" then so be it. But I also don't go around talking shit about them for no reason.
but.. I guess starting a random, pointless thread slagging anyone who doesn't hold cops up on some kind of mantel does a lot of good for your cause eh?

First off, I highly doubt anyone is going to call a cop a pig to their face after being pulled over. Unless there is some kind of prior history between the two.
Second, take a look at my post on the last page, it gives one good reason why people "slag off" "in the safety of [their] homes."
For instance, if I get into an argument with someone and talk shit to them, and they decided to knock me out, they most likely will face consequences for it. Cops on the other hand, won't.
A really old saying (or one I just made up): "Those who feel the need to use violence towards someone who uses words is a fuckin' twat"

Very correct MDU, theres an element of 'oh its just the interweb' when out in the real world, very very easy to be staunch as on here and just as easy to brush it off when asked about it over a pie or a beer. I know of one member that dosent have alot of time (if any) for another member and makes no bones about it on here when ever the two clash. She called this KBer a wanker to his face on three occasions in the space of about an hour, his response was laughable to say the least. Hes very 'tough' on here, not so tough in company.

Hes very 'tough' on here, not so tough in company.

there's a reason most people are too smart to spout off in the face of cops (at least around here).. and that's because cops have guns, batons, pepper spray, tasers etc.
they have stern looks and speed cameras in NZ..the NZ Police tazers are what the US State troopers use as party favors
no matter what they do.. they don't get charged for anything ever.
same here
But I also don't go around talking shit about them for no reason.
not from around here are ya ??? :girlfight:
look... they cops are doing a job .. thats it .. most of them wont even remember someone called them a cunt today past dinnertime.. if you fuck up... grow some balls and take the consequences.. if you havnt fucked up.. nothing to worry about

Some cops have great humour. When asked "why are you diving pissed"I'm too pissed to walk.Guys drove my car and myself home. For being a comic I was charged $930 and 6 months walking.
And whose fault was it,mine. The only ticket which annoyed me was 83km in 70km,was doing 74km towards car,and 83km away, got pinged at 83km.Told him how I felt,as no way was I getting off it,and same demerits. He listened I paid.
Years ago the local copper would turn a blind eye to farmers on the road with quads or bikes, usually bikes without rego, wof and helmets, but being ridden along the grass verge, then the local station in rural towns declined,so instead of 2 cops only 1 or none.Usually when shit hit the fan at a pub for example the locals would help the cops get rid of trouble makers(pissed rugby teams, pub crawlers)now days the locals more than likely join in against the cops, due to over vigorous ticketing.

What would YOU know about me... if anything... anything at all...?
I know there's a shitload of keyboard warriors in here that talk a good game, are real life gangsters from the anonymity of their armchairs and turn to soggy tissue paper when faced with the real world.
No - I meant what I say and stand behind it.
... talk about a short term victory! Woo hoo - you beat up a cop... and spend a year in prison. What a winner.
Who exactly are you talking about? Did one of our pig bashers get creamed by a pig or something? For the record, I don't think anyone here actually want's to beat up a cop. I don't, and wouldn't unless I was attacked unprovoked.
