I' d like to thank the Triumph owners club for a bloody good run on Saturday
The ride started at Waihi Beach the weather was holding off for us while they had the usual formalities before the start of the ride.
There were about 250 bikes to start the run.
Glen from BRM was there with the BRM ute taking photos for the mag so check the next issue for pics and a writeup.
10:45 and the first bunch of speed demons is off.
Hamilton is the first stop at the Brant Rd Taven, we had some quick stops just to regroup along the way but Hamilton was the official stop.
Speeds across the plains were about 120+ all the way this part suited the Harley riders , for us sports bike riders it was a bit boring.
A big thanks to the Brant Rd Taven for supplying some prizes.
The next stage was the divy over to Raglan funny no Harleys out front this time. :whistle:
Thats because its sports bike heaven the speeds were high for a good part of this until a big downpour slowed things down a bit, one quick stop to re group then off to the Raglan surf club the finish point for the run.
More prizes were given away here and a big late lunch was supplied by the surf club.
The weather was good until it was time to go home then it pissed down all the way back to Katikati. :cold:
I for one will be doing this run again it was funtastic :drinknsin
