just go to a few bikes shops (Mt Eden bikes have heaps of CBRs) and sit on a few 250s and see which one feels more comfy. The CBR is one of the smallest sporty bikes tho, just something to bear in mind. Screams the hardest tho..
welcum too ;)

Go for a test ride first. Dont buying it before you have taken it for a blast.

Good luck.

yeah man!!! you will ahh.. get on it. i am slightly taller than you and i have had several bikes that a roughly the same size. even owned a MC19 1989 CBR250R at one stage. only draw back is that you cant really get behind the fairings like on a 600 or bigger.
go and test ride heaps of different types of bikes and really concentrate on what type of riding you are gonna do. if find that they are the most important things that you need to take into consideration when choosing.

Best of luck dude.. :ride:
