Come and visit the beautiful Hazard County!

Home of rolling hills, Surf beaches, Twisty roads, silly open road speed limits, and of course, it is New Zealands Premier Police District.

Hazard county (some people know it as Rodney) is located just north of New Zealands capital City, Auckland, and encompasses such glorious destinations as Helensville, Dairy Flat and parakai.

The main attraction of Hazard in recent times is due to the activities of a creature known as Ginga. There is mass debate over the number of Gingas, but most reports suggest one or two exist in the area. No other sightings of this species have been made anywhere else in New Zealand!

Although its taxynonymy status is uncertain, it is thought by some that despite being a New Zealand native species, Hazard's Gingas could indeed be closely related to European Gingas - but without the cross breeding with leprechauns.

Reports on its behavior however are sparse, but it does seem more active at night. It also has been known to venture outside of hazard, but the sources of this information are yet to be confirmed.

Behaviour witnessed thus far (from credible Hazard experts) Include: Entrapment, Bribery, Blackmail, bullying and lying.

WARNING!
Data suggests that Ginga's are actually caring creatures! If you are travelling too fast for its liking, regardless of speedlimits, it will punish you for your own protection! This is highly unadvisable as there is little chance for escape - it is very resourceful and will call upon its pack of minions to catch you via roadblocks in a cost efficient and constructive use of police time.

Hazard County Tours run weekly, departing Westgate Shell station at 7pm every thursday.
You can be assured that a Hazard expert will be on hand as your guide. Enjoy the scenery, and if very lucky, a Ginga sighting may occur.

I was out that way today testing the Bandit. No Ginga sightings. Luckily too, because I was enjoying how much power it had compared to the ginny

I'm heading up to Auckalofa on Thursday on business. Anyone got a spare bike or pillion seat as I want to experience this for myself. I hear your Thursday night rides are legend and I'd like to meet some of the crew.

I'm serious by the way.

How much are these tours?

Is there accommodation?

B.Y.O. bike to bike comms for the guided commentary?

Would love to go on one. I have no WOF. Is this the ideal bait? Is there a refund if the game is not sighted?

Is there accommodation?

Depends on what you "catch". You may win a all-expenses-paid night at Her Majesty's pleasure.

B.Y.O. bike to bike comms for the guided commentary?

No need, the group will stop at every landmark where the leader will give a full history of the local area and features until the cop is finished.

It's a tad subtle for the game you're looking for - remember that over the years they have become slightly acclimatised to humans entering their territory. Preferred bait is a bike with running racing slicks, no lights, no plate (the numbers on the racing boards are all they'll need) and a open pipe to help bring the prey out of the bushes.

Payment to the tour operater can be made in beer.

Confirmed sighting of the ginga's companion that normally is seen with him, southbound lanes of SH1 a few k's past the Puhoi tunnels near the toll cameras. Also stopped a motorcyclist for his own protection.
