Enjoy! :2thumbsup My 990 SM is the best bike I have ever owned or ridden. 24,400km later, the first year is almost up :ride:

For a decent set of pipes, look up Mototoys (http://mototoys.com.au/39.html), he's the aussie distributor for Wings, good quality without the price of akrapovic.

Nice :) whats the difference between the motard and the adventurers?
Adventure is physically larger, bigger tank, 21 odd inch front wheel, 18? for rear, a full blown adventure bike on steriods. Fairings, screen etc.

Supermoto is more of a street bike, uses 17 inch wheels, 19L tank for the 08 onwards, 17.5L for the carbed 950. Same rubber as sportsbikes (ie, standard sizing), but still long suspension, sorta like a motard on steriods (you're seeing the theme I imagine).

Supermoto Travel is a modified Supermoto, just some different accessories, at the core its identical.

Superduke is the naked bike on steriods... competitor to tuono etc.

Great machine mate, friend of mine has one and it is not shy!!

We found it doesn't have the bottom end stomp of my Hypertard but it is much more lively mid range and top end.

KTM, reliability and build she will treat you right, great guns. :headbang:

Easy to drag the foot pegs on the road I found , alittle under powered but steered well when pushed hard , brakes worked great as did the Whitepower suspension . Enjoy :2thumbsup

just watch you learn wheelies tho... they get very hard NOT to do... the lack of speed is very refreshing, and yet its still got plenty of punch.

Either the 950 differed, or I dunno what you're doing  I've had the left peg touch down once, but you'd need to load the suspenion a fair bit, and get far over. I'm juuuust running off the edge of the rear at maximum lean, and not touching the pegs...

hehe, yeah, Daves lookin at me sideways, he highsided his k6 a coupla weeks ago and hes very nervous about it now, sorta freaked him out a bit. The boyz I ride with are now relegated to my rear view mirror in the twisties! Im over the speed thing these days. :Police:
Must catchup for a blast soon eh.

Welcome to the world of big Tards! :Punk::Punk:, boys here don't get a look in sideways in the twisties and they hate it, you got her up on the back wheel?, nicely balanced bike mate and a real wheelie weapon ... so I heard cos it is illegal and I would never do that

uh huh...... took off from a set of lights this morn, raised her up in 1st, lo and behold an on coming cop sees me and deccides to do nothing. Great, I short shift three gears and carry on as per. No worries:shit: he didn't care. Respect. I love this bike..... :2guns::Punk::jerry:

Unlike sportsbikes that look fast standing still, and every cop you pass seems to be drawing up a mental list of what he can do you for... the supermotos look like big dirt bikes (aka, harmless fellas)

Too often I've kept a nice low wheelie through large intersections (y'know, accidental like) and by the other side find its err... got a little higher :shifty:

Lucky, I was spotted by one of our local feds and he didn't think my level of skill and experience should be shared with the general public ... meany

No ticket but HUGE bollocking and cautionary note to be good :Punk:, unfortunately in a town of 6000 and I am the President or The Wanaka Motorcycle Club so I am kinda known :shifty:

Hey fellow KTM 950 SM riders! I've just been told by my current insurance company, eBike, that they will no longer be insuring bike in NZ.

So, I was just wondering who you guys use for your KTMs?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
