Ok I'm looking at a cheapo chink pitbike off trademe for the family to learn to wheelie on. Will add wheelie-trainer/crash bars, elbow/knee pads, and then go hard on it. :shit:

Question: Do these bikes have oil surge problems when ridden around extensively on the rear wheel?

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, I think it depends which one you go for. I hear there are good factories producing great stuff and shite factories producing shite.

Someone on here had a thread about a super long wheelie that he recons made his engine seize :o

Hehe, we fully intend to buy a cheapo shite one. ;)

It only needs to wheelie. Don't want to jump it and otherwise thrash it in the rough.

Worst case - I'll hack the oil pickup.

Go for it I can definately vouch that enheris the trademe seller sells great cheap chinese shit that do not have oil starve issue do it!

I brought a 125 four stroke thing for 400$ and the whole bike fell apart around the motor like 10 times the motor is solid

Invest in some loctite and clutch that shit up

I imported and sold a heap. Fucken mint.

Taught myself to do circless and two up one handed wheelies (check my attachements).

They're all based on the same thing, mine was as cheap as they get. Keep re tightening the bolts and they'll last forever.

Get a full manual, not a semi and you'be set. Easy to fit a hand brake under the clutch if you want also.

Great advice.

Get a torque wrench attachment for your compressor.

Before and after each ride - sorted!
