We could start an Aprilia forum and see if anybody has had their warranty honoured by the NZ distributors, other than by getting a whole bike replacement, or if there are any parts in the country or if it's ever likely that there will be parts in the country...

One wonders if the speed sensor in an RSV4 works in a Shiver. If it does, then perhaps some of the broken down RSV4s that are sitting in dealer workshops could be pillaged for parts.

Nah bad idea - I don't want to end up talking to a bunch of gay Honda riders :laugh::laugh:

(but seriously, yes not a bad thought.)

It wouldnt work.

There is bugger all specialist advice really on particular models and cool mods etc.. well nothing compared to actual forums dedicated to particular models.

I think KB has enough forums as it is. And it would just end up like every other site that has brand/make sub forums with them all being relatively dead.

That is a good point.

Just throwing the idea out to see what people think, but I believe it wouldn't work really, not to mention there are a heap of other forums on the net dedicated to certain makes.

How about setting up social groups if you think something is missing.

Yep, better to have them sitting silently in the background rather than on the front page taking up space and not being used.

I think that they bike 'genre' break down covers it off pretty good.
