What he said...shhhhh Class starts . Expert, vets, mixed, father/son, solo, clubbies and novices in that order with a good spacing in between. This will speed up proceedings ten fold.

This round will be totally different.
30% farm land, 45% bush(minimal toi toi), 25% open fire breaks.
The kids will be mainly farm loop.

We even have a bog.Hopefully it pisses down as its drying out quick.

you've got me all excited tony.

it sounds like it's going to be a mint day! it's good because the tracks have been different every round! and this one sounds like it's going to differ more! something to suit everyone. it's gonna be mint, can't wait.

not too sure whether to ride my 250SX or the old man's 300EXC. better make up my mind soon! haha.

But I certainly haven't been doing the whole 20k by myself. Sunday we had 10 helpers and 6 on Saturday. Its been the same for the past 14 weeks. Only break was for the dead toad. Yep its a tad faster, but totally cool.

settle down, my bad, must be someone else or crossed wires.

No point, just seeing as how close the points all are and the last round being double points was seeing if anyone was getting a look in on the track before hand, and if we could too! Would love to finish up in the top three, but it's pretty much up to the last race (which is cool) so will have to see what happens Sunday, enjoying it regardless.

It did look after the first round that the winners had such a big winning margin that they should be in a different group as they where a lot quicker than the rest. But last round showed a mistake can change it all so, it will be interesting to see what happens at the end. Good luck all, lets hope we get a bit of rain.

does it need "pruning"?

Pruning only helps us slow riders. Those of us that don't actually race because we are pruning, mostly on foot and some times on quad. If anything being a pruner makes you slow and gives the wrong perspective of a track from the ground up.

Pruning makes you frustrated, disillusioned and generally pissed off that you cannot ride or race. Not to mention the mental fatigue and mental stress involved.

Yes we will be on the quads for the next couple of days. Want to have a break down with us???

I tink you get the picture Rupe.:brick::sweatdrop

Had a terrrible race. Resulted in a rooted leg. Cant really walk.

Had a good start, managed to get out front, was a real buzz flying up that hill with the rest of the riders. Really cool. Started setting a nice pace, passed 10/15 riders and came up to some tightish section. Somehow I hit a root and I think the throttle may have stuck and I went head on into a tree. Came off pretty bad, somehow the bike landed on my leg and I twisted it really badly, was writhing around like a snake haha!

Had every other rider pass me shouting out "YOU ALRIGHT!!?!?".. "yeh bro :niceone:"

Tony & afew Wardens came through and were a great help. Good to know there was help when needed. Ended up riding back like a nana with one leg sticking out haha.

And wasnt that bog EXTREME? I came up to it and was like WHAT! INTENSE hahaha. The track was awesome, only managed to do about 3/4 of a lap though! Cheers Tony & the crew! ( did you mange to grab my fender tony lol? )

It was my mate who was the last man back, spoke to him today.....he's laughing now but admits he was starting to worry a bit when he couldn't hear any more bikes echoing in the bush then out of the bush came his saviour on a Kawasaki. He hit a tree stump, buggerd his expansion champer and severed the fuel line(he didn't notice that of course)had to cut his oil breather pipe to make a fuel line..... lucky his missus was in the carpark to report him AWOL,funny story to tell the boys though

Why that all part of racing to crash you should check thing before you carry on wouldnt be hard to notice gas spilling everywhere in fact how did the bike manage to keep going with a torn fuel line anyway must have been real low on fuel to start with ????

He thinks he smelt fuel a couple of times, albeit a little late.....was on his fifth lap....he isn't some nooobi that doesn't know what he's doing(he always does the Ironman Class),as i said he's having a laugh now,he was more gutted that he didn't finish the race and has to buy a new expansion chamber, and seriously doubt that he expects any sort of refund

erh blah blah blah, maybe the 3 hours he waited after two sweeps went by and said they send a someone to bring him back, or the fact they forgot and it was his missus who had to go and ask for help to find him....oh yeah dickhead...

Ha ha, He's lucky we remembered him. Everyone thought the next sweep would pick him up. We recovered 2 Yamahas at the end of the race and we thought that one was him. I'll  next time.

Yes correct. We had to manually adjust as a rider took out the computer and printer. Lost a bit of time thats all and it was our fault for not slowing riders dwn before the scan tent. lesson learnt.

Same with the ladies. Lost first place:Oops:
