Congratulations! It's a great feeling isn't it? Look forward to a lifetime of riding and don't be in too much of a rush to develop your skills. Take it easy and take care.

thanks for the advice im sitting the theory tomorrow i think only problem is that i wont be able to buy a bike for a few months yet cause i don't have a job or money which really sucks

but i guess by getting my learners will mean less time on learners when i get a bike

Just in case you haven't seen it already, the test is basically here:

I think I had 1 question in my actual test that wasn't on here.
You should breeze through :Punk:

Well done on the BHS mate! ...almost there!! The theory test is pretty basic so you'll be fine.

Don't forget to budget in for gear too! Its amazing how all that stuff adds up, pretty handy to have tho:sweatdrop

Bingo! That's exactly what I keep saying to people. Good luck with the theory. It's pretty straightforward. The only "funky" question I had was "What is the maximum drawbar length for an unbraked trailer?" Funnily enough I didn't get that one right. The bike ones are stupid. They could be summed up as:

If a vehicle pulls out in front of you do you:

a) Accelerate using the other side of the road to pass the vehicle.
b) Brake safely and progressively to a stop.
c) Use you horn to warn the other vehicle to move out of your way.
d) Stand up on the pegs to reduce the likelihood of injury.

Really, they are that stupid.

(Having re-read the thread it sounds like you probably sat the theory today. Congratulations if you passed. Commiserations if you didn't.)

Congratulations on the bhs. How did it go with the scratchie?

Hope you have a mate who will let you borrow their bike for some quiet practice until you get one of your own.
