The other day I was taking my bike out to the track and I'm still really struggling with the whole backing the trailer thing. Anyhoo after about 15 minutes of trying and potentially running late I thought stuff it, I'll pull the trailer off the car and drag it around.

As I got out of the car this lovely guy pulled up beside me and asked if I needed a hand. I said I need to back the trailer but am just going to pull it off the car and spin it around. He said he'd back it for me, jumped in my car, backed the trailer and pointed the car in the right direction. As he jumped out of the car I said thanks you so much and he said no problems, I'm a biker too, then jumped in his ute and drove away!

Whoever this person be - thanks so so so much, I really appreciated it!

And you never got his number????????
It's great to see that there are still kind hearted and helpful people out there willing to give a struggling female who at least gave it a good try of backing a trailer without succeeding a helping hand when needed.
I have tried doing that myself and it aint as easy as it looks.
You have to turn the steering wheel the opposite way you want it to go.
Keep practising and you will 1 day achieve it.

I am sorry to say that this is quite true.

Basic instincts I'm afraid.

Whilst not actually requred, I am sure that a tit flash would however have been a welcome bonus.

Don't listen to the nasty boys billy - they're just jealous they didn't get to act like big strong men for you.

But seriously - practice the shit out of that trailer. (My missus comes from a nautical family and she can back a loaded trailer down a slime covered boat ramp at 60ks.) You'll soon move it like a pro - and That's Hot.

Seriously. Who wants a woman who can cook when there's women who can drive and or operate heavy machinery available?

You don't have to be beautiful to be beautiful.

You ladies have this fine detail thing that us guys just can't see.

We always look fantastic. Can't help it. It's a species thing.

If you like a guy but don't think you are beautiful enough, buy him a beer.

Whilst it may cost you a few $, your beauty increaees with every gulp he takes :)

Beauty is about contentment with the way you are and the confidence it brings out in your personality.

Yay, we agree on something:-00 But you're right, "keep paying it forward."

I don't know why it works, but it just does. It seems to work in reverse, also. For example, the other day I suggested Katman was descended from and ant and a weasel. Apparently, Katman was upset at this. Boom! Come yesterday, I put my back out when I bent down to lay some ant-poison. You can see the lineal connection between the two events, eh?

He wasn't the only one. I didn't appreciate it either and think it's very bad form. Stick to insulting the person themselves, not a member/members of their family. I could think of a few descriptions of your mother and father to have created you - but they may in fact be lovely people despite their offspring.

I can back trailers now, but god knows I used to sweat it out trying to learn. When you see a guy back a trailer know that he's been through hell to get good enough- just take your time (and a deep breath) with practice it's easy and worth knowing how.

It can be damn expensive to repair your brakes when you leave your disc lock on your brakes and try to take off in a slight hurry (was running behind on my way to work.)

The worse part was that 23 hours before my car blew its head; I was with out anything until pirate jafa helped me out.

I still owe him big time for that!

I had a lovely delivery guy push start me this morning. Ripper Roo92 had the ginny conk out on him at the KFC lights in Manurewa on his way to school (how convenient....) I drove up to have a look, dropped him at school in the car then came back to see what I could do with the bike. After a couple of pathetic attempts to get it rolling a nice delivery man came to my rescue!
Started first push.

(Had daughter in the car, who I'd had to winkle out of bed in order to drive car back in the event that I got the bike going).

Something tells me I should have made my son push the bike home (only about 1km) but hey, aren't mum's meant to be suckers for their offspring when they get stuck? Next time though, he can do it himself!!
