I've decided that I'm going to take a step back from racing for a while, and am selling up in order to clear some of my debts which have been taking the "fun factor" away from this fantastic sport/hobbie we are all so addicted to.

I had planned on racing at Rnd 5 and paid my entry as per usual, however financial strain won't allow a final fling.

I've had a chat with Sue (Duke Girl) and Clive and rather than get a refund have decided I'd like to have a go at this "giving" thing as I feel the clubs been great to me and I've had plenty of fun with them.

Sooo....................I have decided to leave my fee with the club and for it to be used as a spot prize of .............................."Free Entry to Rnd 6"

It can be open to any rider entered in rnd 5, and if someone wins it and feels they don't need it, then it would be fantastic if it could be passed on to the next name drawn.

Hopefully it will help someone out, and ad just a little more fun to what will I know be a fantastic weekend.

Will leave it for the Club peoples to decide on how they want to do it, maybe a lunchtime drawing Skip?

Sounds like there have been a few lately, I know I am feeling it too, but my rider is out there doing her thing thanks to a lot of support from generous people like you have just proven yourself to be.

Sad news but a very generous gesture. Good on ya mate !

Like I said to you earlier Tony It is such a nice gesture and so generous of you to do this especially when you are going through such a tuff time at present.
I hope that 1 day in the not so distance future that you manage to get back on top of your life and can eventually get yourself back out onto the track doing what it is your really prefer doing, Racing.
I wish you Goodluck Tony and thanks again for doing what you have done with this kind hearted gesture.

Aww Tony, can't you sell the kids/wife or send them up a chimney or down a coal-mine or summit?

What a bummer.... I know how he feels, have quit my job at bike shop(was down to 4 days) and gone back tractor driving to make some pingas to get into racing... Even moved back to shed outside brothers house to keep costs down... Now all I need is a bike (600 or 750) ...was going to race my gixxer but i think it going to pop its clogs soon so may just buy a race bike....

Good luck Tony :Punk:

Why not i say !!! Sounds like your in just the position to be able to !!!

Maybe if Tony's Mrs smiles at you nicely, he could slip away and drive a tractor for a season and she might not notice (till you realise how good you really had it and take the tractor back)
Ok i'll shut up and go drink another bourbon !
