Carb balance after Valve Clearances?

Do the carbs need to be balanced after I have adjusted the valve clearances? Bike is ZXR400. Cheers.

Based on the results with my GS1000 I would say yes.
The GS has CV carbs not sure what the kwaka has.
I get the best results by checking tappet clearances and then vacuum syncing/balancing the carbs.
