Ok so am looking at a parts bike in CHCH, it is just a rolling frame... wheels and tank. Unfortunately I am in Auckland, what is the best/sneakiest/cheapest way to get it here? there is no hurry and Im not too worried about the treatment it receives in transit. don't really want to spend 3 or 4hundy moving around a hundred dollar item... Ideas? Cheers

We had a stone carving for the garden shipped up from Chch just over a year ago by Mainfreight. It weighed a fair bit and was on a pallet. Cost around $90. Don't know whether this helps,

Cheapest option, Push it and learn to swim with a bike strapped to your back.
you will just have to ring around the freight companies.

Cheers for the suggestions. Just thought someone may have done a similar excercise and had someone they could reccomend. Will talk to Mainfreight etc.
