Ive heard though the grapevine that no one likes doing the valve clearences on these vc models ive got cuse there a bitch, see what i can find on there in that regard.

Yeah a guru is the word. He has some great posts. I just looked at his tutorial on balancing the carbs. He made it look like childs play. Mind you at $600 for the 4 vacuum gauge setup (Sulco tools) I cant see myself doing it anytime soon. Might just use one and record the individual readings.

I must say I do like the RF with the hugger and undertray fitted.....modernises it and makes the back end look lighter. The rear tail light mod looks good too.

Have you got a copy of the part of the service manual dealing with that?
I have an original service manual so if you need decent resolution copies of that section let me know and I will see what I can do. The faxed one on the internet is Ok but the diagrams are unclear.

You kinda need 4 so you can give it a tiny bit of a rev & just see that they are tracking at the same amount & smooth them out.

Sort of thing that easy to take to a shop unless you can borrow some as I've done in the past. I was surprised after some serious dicking with the carbs with float levels, jet kits & emulsion tubes I never had to readjust the balance.

Valves on the 900 were childsplay to check.

I have a high resolution one off the original Suzuki digital design files, fully text searchable. The one they actually used to print off.

No i dont have a manual for it , its only used on the track from time to time .
It runs sweet had no problems at all with it , only had it a short time thou
I dont intend doing that at this present time, i was just woundering about the vtec setup . if i do need it later down the track ill pm you for sure ,cheers.
