Am I the only person in NZ who just can't get enough of the characters on The West Wing? Just curious. :-)

My wife bought the box set when we were in Vietnam, although it was called the Weat Wing.
Reasonable quality however

Nope, I like it too!
I missed it the first time around, so I am slowly working my way throught the series at the moment.

That's fantastic. You just made my day. The Weat Wing! Brilliant! I'm figuring it was quite a cheap boxed set then....

Whenever I mention it to anyone they've never heard of it so I thought I would throw the question out there. I just can't get over the personalities of the characters. It tends to put me on the floor laughing.

Have you seen them all? Must be time for me to start again at the beginning. :-)

I think CJ's my favourite.

No, haven't made it through the whole series. Some day maybe...

Josh would have to be my favourite.

I probably need to finish the JAG's that I am halfway through before I re-watch the WW though. They just don't make TV like they used to.

JAG, now there's a quality show. Wonder where you can get those on DVD?

I have them. :-) Send me a PM if you can't find them (and want them).

Very kind offer, don't know if I'd have enough money though to buy them. I've been thinking of just renting the sets, although I can't find JAG in the stores. Boy, this is really off the topic of biking, how did that happen? :-)

Thanks again for that. I'll keep that in mind. Fun thinking about old shows I enjoyed.

My girlfriend is also a big fan. She's probably been through the entire set about 5-6 times?
I think the combination of Josh/Donna is probably the best play off between 2 characters...

Have you tried Videora on Dominion Road. They have pretty much every fricken tv series ever made.

Cool, thanks for that! I'll have a look at some point.

That's cool to know. I work not far from there.

I loved the series. Probably the contrast between a (fictional) US president who was smart and intelligent while the real one was anything but.

Yes well, there is that element. In fact quite a few people wanted Martin Sheen to run for president (if you believe Wikipedia). He was apparently quite clear in stating that they were confusing acting with presidential qualities. :-) Having said that America did elect The Governator after all. (Not that he seems to do too bad a job.)

Might take you up on that at some point. I used to have access to a friend's set, but don't anymore.
