ax100, cheap, easy to ride, cheap, and you can bucket after. Oh and they are cheap, you can get one for under a grand leaving you with three more for your big bike.

Rent something, unless you want to keep the 250 or less for other purposes.

not a bad suggestion if you're keen to give a two-stroker a go

i want something cheap that will do 110 if i feel like it

How long til your full? If it isn't long see if there is a 250 floating around that you can borrow until then...

Bit of a waste of effort to buy something only to sell it again in a month or 2...

Colemans suzuki do bike hire for licence tests...

Yeah, and if you went in and put the money down on one of their bikes I'm sure they'd give you the bike to do the license on for free if you sweet talked em...

Go put the money down on a 600 as a deposit at the shop. Just hire the 250 or just go buy zxr250:2guns:

just get the god damn ax100 or hire a bike for three days, do the test and then buy a nicer big bike.

400 crusers are a complete waste of money, you want to get a 500cc MIN for a crusier, 700-800 is ideal first cruiser.

+1

remember cruiser motors are total fail and produce less than half the power and torque than their capacity would suggest

Ah, coz GN needs either flat bar or MX bar or Clubman bar to change that awful position.
You don't know how quick the GN can be :p
