Well this round I was to be running my new ZX6RR as well as my SV650.

First off was the 600 which I had not ridden on the track at all before straight out into qualifying.

I was getting pretty nervous at this point to be honest,

I got out onto track and started a slow opening lap to get a feel for everything and my instant impression before even pushing it was this bike handles so nice, everything I wanted it to do it did it tipped in with ease and the Michellin Power one tires really really stuck in there, So I started giving it my all that I could and was learning things like brake markers etc.
Unfortunatly I was 3 seconds off the qualifying cut off time with a 1:26 and was bumped into clubmans.

So out I went in Clubmans Qualifying for some more track time but was not going to mater what time I did as I would be starting from 36th position, This time I felt alot more comfartable on the ZX6RR and really started pushing it I was really really loving the tires the dual compunds work so well when you tip into the bend they just stick!
I had a blast and was flying past heaps of bikes even got to feel like Rossi for a few seconds when I came into turn 1 changed down got the rear end stepped out slid into the bend and made it around, The Back fires under down changing to was awsome and apparently was blowing a few cool flames.

My first impressions of the bike was a big 125 it handles well and has no power under 10,000 RPM

Pro Twin Qualifying:

Well After 2 sessions on the 600 I was back onthe SV and when I went on track I istantly noticed how bad my bike seesaws around the bends, And going through turn 2 you really really really feel that bump it feels like the front end is about to let go its quite funny how you notice the differences of the track on 2 different bikes, Also another thing which amused me was were I was braking on the 600 I wasstill on the gas on the 650 and I managed to qualify in 20th position, A bitdown from were I was hoping I really thought I had put a good run together.

Clubmans race 1:

After Robert Taylor made some adjustments to the rear shock I was out for my first race on it I lined up in 36th position and got a pretty average start not my normal as I was a bit worried about flipping it off the line, So I ended up getting away near the rear of the group and fought me way up a few places through the infeild once I hit the Dennis Hulme straight I got a few bikes by straight line speed and power and into higgens which I was abit hesitent on as there was still a puddle of water there I managed to pass 6 bikes in 1 lap apparently and I ended up on a race of my own, I then started wheeling in a group infront of me including a TZ250 I managed to get these bikes and ended up finishing 8th overall so I was pretty impressed with that considering I was right down in 36th at the start.

Pro Twin Race 1:

I got a shocking start dropped the clutch off the line wheelstood down the straight was not what I was wanting! Into turn 1 I just pushed my way in there and accelerated out thi is were I noticed the SV really has a tendency of spinning the rear and I think you have more chance of highsiding the 650 than the 600! I got into a good battle were I was in front of quite a few pro twins so was rather impressed until I started feeling knackered I lost the circulation through my hands and my right hand become numb so I slowed down and ended up getting passed by alot of bikes. I ended up finishing 21st overall. Not what I was wanting but its all points as I was about 10th in pro twin

That was Saturday over and I got a good sleep and was asleep by 8pm

Race 2 Clubmans:

This time I got a much better launch and got right up there in the group I got into some really good dices and managed to get right up to 4th overall, I thought I had a good gap over the others as I couldnt hear them behind me so when i was coming through the infield to pass the old Trriumph I decided to go around the outside of himand not stick it up the inside well the other group were closer than I thought and managed to all get up the inisde of me and put me down to 7th were I ended up finishing, But I was happy I got up to 4th and did my weekend goal of going sub 1:20 and got down to a 1:19

Pro Twin Race 2:

To be honest I dont remember much of this race other than wheelstanding off the lights again and running with a few pro twins and getting tired real fast!

Just before race 3 my brother had a crash and ended up in hospital with his finger ground out we were deciding to pack up and go but luckily my uncle came so I got to compete in my final 2 races for the day.

Clubman race3:

Another good start and this time I tryed to go round the outside of everyone it didnt work and ended up going right back down the field so I thought my way back up and ended up catching the TZ this time the group I had been battling with all weekend were sperated out and I picked them off one by one and got up to 7th again I was slowly reeling in 6th place when the white flag came out so I just made sure I finished the race as the bike was also starting to run out of gas the fuel light had come on about half race distance.

Pro Twin Race 3:

This time I got a good start and ended up really getting in there I could see Deano not far in front of me but got passed by a few bikes and he started pulling away, I ended up holding off a few pro twins for some time and ended up with a race with a post classic a Yellow FZR1000 with blue strips and matching leathers it was great fun bestrace I have had on the pro twin all season

SO overall I had a pretty exciting weekend.

I am feeling pretty knackered right now tho!

I noticed the bump going into turn 2 as well, not dangerous but verging on distracting. I had a scrap with you in one of the races getting you on the last lap of one of the races. I think you and I have 2 of the slowest pro twin bikes, straight line speed wise, in the feild. i could stay with you on the straight but everyone else pulled away easy. bloody hard passing people at manfeild when they gain 50m every straight. good luck on the 600

Yep cause the 13b isn't a rotor or nothing.

Well done on the w/e. Just set the bike up at the stock suspension settings and go, or else your be chasing your tail again.

Good shit bro!
