I want to sell some of my bash plates. Can do them for the drz 400 easy as. Can allso do them for the dr650 but with out the bike i cant drill and tap the mounting bracket. You can do this you self i suply all bolts and 3mm stainless mounting bracket you just need to bolt braket on and mark the holes (easy) Made from 4mm alloy plate with oil drain hole so you wont have to remove once fitted.

Dr650 normal price $180 will do for $140

Drz400 normal price $160 will do for $135

if a kb member in dunedin wants one for a dr650 i can do the holes for the bracket and they can have the plate for bugger all

the bracket bolts to your engine mount and then the bash plate bolts to that. The rear of the plate bolts up under the motor. There is two factory mounts allready there

A chain guard for a KTM if you had the measurements or a template? The Plastic one is good but it wears over time and I am sure a alloy one would look good...
Thanks, nice work, you are a talented bloke.....:woohoo:

17th October, Octagon in Dunners.

Tony Arnerich also has one of your plates on his DR400 and raves about it, when I told him I was getting one of your ones he said great move, so any punters on here that are indecisive take the leap and you won't be disappointed.

that name rings a bell is he up your way. Hi drz hoffy i have thought of doing case savers befor but i think it would be to hard to make the dished edge i dont realy have the gear to do it. i may look into it at some stage i need to have a good look at a bike to see if i can come up with some sort of idea

gpcustom
6th October 2009, 17:48
ive been trying to make a jig to sort the holes for the front mount bracket its a real pain in the arse to get it right. But will save me a lot of hassel once its right at the moment i have to fit every bash plate to a bike to get the holes in the right spot. The dr650 bash plate takes me about 3 hours each where the drz 400 is only 1 hour start to finish:crybaby:

bash plates its crazy. Yea i can tell by looking at the case savers there would be a lot of work and would be easy to buy them if you can. Its would be just to hard for me to form them up.
